Evidence

How we decide what to share.

Trust matters more than speed. This is how BioHer sources, checks and presents health information.

Our standards

We draw on NHS, NICE and peer-reviewed sources, link to them and note when guidance differs or is still developing.

Review process

Every article cites its sources, and we are appointing a clinical advisor to review content before publishing. Articles are updated when guidance changes.

Ranges and results

We show the UK reference range, explain what it means and avoid claims beyond the evidence.

What we do not do

We do not diagnose, treat or replace your GP. See our medical disclaimer.

Reading list

NICE Clinical Knowledge Summaries: iron deficiency anaemia · NICE NG88: heavy menstrual bleeding · NHS: iron deficiency anaemia · NHS: heavy periods · NHS: menopause symptoms · GOV.UK: Renewed Women's Health Strategy for England (April 2026)

Every BioHer guide lists its own sources at the bottom of the page. See the guides on iron and ferritin, periods, perimenopause and menopause, gut and brain, stress and strength.
