These terms apply to every ticket you buy for a BioHer event, including talks, workshops, movement sessions, hikes, breathwork and sound baths. By booking, you agree to them.
BioHer is a sole trader business run by Kerri Hopkins, based in Buckinghamshire, UK. You can contact us at hello@bioher.co.uk.
Each event page lists what is included, for example refreshments, a panel talk, a guided activity or a sound bath. Anything not listed is not included. Event details such as the venue, timings and speakers may change, and we will tell you if they do.
If you cancel
Because our events take place on a specific date, the 14-day cancellation right that applies to many online purchases does not apply. These terms set out what we offer instead. Nothing in them affects your legal rights.
If we cancel or change the event
If we cancel an event, we will offer you a full refund or a transfer to another date. If we make a significant change, such as a different date, we will let you know and you can choose a refund if the change does not suit you. We are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you have booked.
BioHer events are educational and wellbeing experiences. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and no speaker or practitioner is treating you.
Please tell us about allergies, dietary requirements and access needs when you book, or at least 5 days before the event. We will do our best to cater for them. If you share this information, we will use it only to run the event, as described in our Privacy Policy. We cannot guarantee that food is free from all allergens.
Our speakers and practitioners are independent professionals. The views they share are their own. We choose them carefully, but we are not responsible for their individual advice, and we may need to replace a speaker if they become unavailable.
We take photos and video at our events to share our community on our website, social media, printed materials and promotional content for BioHer and BioHer at Work. This section explains how we ask for your permission and how you can change your mind.
Our approach: opt in, not assumed. Your photo or video is used publicly only if you have said yes.
Where we may use images. Our website (bioher.co.uk), our Instagram account and other social media, email newsletters, printed materials, and proposals or reports for BioHer at Work clients.
Changing your mind. You can withdraw your permission at any time by emailing hello@bioher.co.uk. We will remove the image from our website and from social media accounts we control as soon as we reasonably can, normally within 14 days, and we will not use it in new materials. We cannot recall printed materials already distributed, or content that others have already shared or copied.
Children and under-18s. Our events are for adults. We do not knowingly photograph anyone under 18.
Speakers and guests. Speakers and guests agree to appear in photos and video as part of taking part, and we will confirm the details with them in writing.
Your photos. You are welcome to take photos for personal use. Please do not photograph or record other attendees without their agreement, and do not share images that show other people online without their permission, as our events are a space for open and honest conversations.
Your data. A photo or video of you is personal information. We handle it as set out in our Privacy Policy, and we will keep images for as long as we reasonably need them for the purposes above, or until you withdraw your permission.
We use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy. Please do not share medical details with us unless we have asked for them for a specific reason.
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for events outside our control, such as severe weather, venue closure, illness of a speaker, or travel disruption.
We may update these terms. The terms in force when you book are the ones that apply to your booking.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you have a complaint, please email hello@bioher.co.uk first so we can try to put it right.
