Introducing the BioHer Health Toolkit

By Kerri Hopkins · 3 min read · 20 October 2026

BioHer began after iron deficiency left me exhausted, anxious and unlike myself. It was hard to know what my symptoms meant, what to ask, or where to find information I could trust.

The BioHer Health Toolkit is being built to help with exactly that: understanding your body a little better, and feeling more confident when you talk to your doctor.

What the toolkit will help you do

  • Understand your symptoms. Plain-English explanations of what common symptoms can be linked to, and when to speak to a professional.
  • Prepare for your GP appointment. A simple summary of what you've been experiencing, how long, and the questions you'd like to ask.
  • Learn what your blood test markers do. What each marker is, what the UK reference range means, and why a result can look "normal" while you still feel unwell.
  • Keep a record. Track how you feel over time so patterns are easier to spot and to share.

How we approach it

  • Evidence-led: we draw on NHS and NICE guidance and show our sources.
  • Sources shown: you can see where information comes from. We are in the process of appointing a clinical advisor and will say so when that is in place.
  • Honest about limits: where the evidence is still developing or ranges differ, we say so.
  • Here to support your care, not replace it.

Be first to try it

We are inviting founding members to try the toolkit early. Join the list on the BioHer homepage to hear when it opens.

BioHer provides educational information only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace your GP or other healthcare professional. If symptoms feel urgent or severe, call 111 for urgent advice, or 999 in an emergency.
